Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know a little about me. I've been in the field of energy medicine for over 25 years, as a patient, a student, and as a practitioner. I became interested in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) when I sought treatment for my mental/emotional/hormonal health disregulation brought on by stress and past traumas. I began my formal studies in Vancouver in1999, changed schools when I relocated back to Nelson, paused to have my first child (I am a mother of 3), and then graduated from a 4 year intensive training program in TCM and Acupuncture in 2007, receiving the Dean's award for highest academic achievement. I moved to the Creston Valley in 2015 and have had a successful practice as a co-owner of Creston Acupuncture & Natural Health Centre. In 2023, I was voted for and awarded Gold in the Customer Choice Awards thanks to all of our wonderful community voters. I created Dove's AcuEnerQi Wellness as my life path has shifted in a new direction and now in midlife, I feel more alive and vibrant now than I have in any other part of my life. As I have learned to listen to and navigate my life according to my own internal guidance system I have become more attuned to subtle energies that are generally missed due to the "noise" of our external environment. This has helped me become a better human, mother, friend, healer, and coach. I really look forward to working with you wherever you are in the path of life, help you to balance your energy to address any symptoms you may be experiencing so that you can live your most authentic, pain-free, vibrant life.
